From never ending chats, becoming best friends to love birds forever, these vivacious newlyweds, Chitra and Prashant, have a mesmerising tale to tell. Read on...
Be My Best Friend for Life!
The young bride, Chitra, delighted us with her vibrant personality. Her voice is full of enthusiasm and excitement! She says, it all started with her father shortlisting Prashant's profile from BharatMatrimony and then she met Prashant. From then on there were only never ending chats. Chitra says, "At that time, Prashant was not in
India and our chats were mostly through Whatsapp. This is how our friendship grew. Eventually we became best of friends".
Compatibility Factor
What about her expectations before the wedding? Full of confidence, she says, "Openness, frankness and friendly nature were the key factors I looked for". "Apart from these, I also wanted a broadminded family". I found Chitra to be a firmly grounded person. She takes me through some of the deeper aspects of a beautiful marital relationship, "We both are logical and practical. We discuss everything in detail before arriving at a decision." She also threw light on the importance of communication between couples before getting engaged. She tells me, "Sharing every detail of our life is extremely important. And this helps check the comfort level with our partner".
Our first date was unforgettable
Prashant is all praise for his pretty lady! He tells me, "She is very systematic. She never stops smiling. My life is wonderful after she came into it". For Chitra, their first meeting has always been special. She recalls the incident, "Prashant came to Ahmedabad for the first time and we went on a date. At that time, it was like there had been years of connect between us. Never felt like we met only a month before".
She makes awesome dal khichdi
A North Indian touch to their wedding was mandatory even though most of the ceremonies unfolded with South Indian rituals and traditions. Here an unexpected act from Prashant for his lady love made her day. Full of smiles, Chitra tells me, "During our Sangeet, we danced together. I am very passionate about dancing, but it was totally unbelievable when Prashant danced with me". Seems like all his dance moves are still fresh in her memory! When it comes to Chitra's culinary skills, Prashant tells me, "She is just learning to cook. But my favourite is the dal khichdi she makes".
This lovely couple wants to convey an excellent message for al those looking for a life partner "Be yourself and accept your partner for who they are".
