Couples all over the world celebrate Valentine’s Day by exchanging gifts, greeting cards and bouquets, and do so much to express their love to their special one. On this lively day, shops are filled with red heart balloons and red roses to symbolise love.
In our story Senthil, sat on a bench in the park, waiting to see the love of his life. And there came a beautiful woman walking towards him. Little did he know that his life was about to change forever. It was their first Valentine’s Day together. “It was a week before our wedding and we had many things to arrange.
But, we longed to see each other and decided to meet. We spent few hours together, and talked so many things. We were just so happy in each other’s company. And I went back home thinking about him,” begins Jothi.
Senthil had a few expectations about his life partner. He says, “I am a Tamilian from Kerala and I wanted to marry a Tamilian too. When I received a request from Jothi, I was so excited. My premium membership helped me contact her immediately and soon I met Jothi at her home. She looked very simple yet elegant in a chudidar. We were a bit uneasy at the beginning but we became comfortable over a conversation. Many things matched between us and I decided that she is the one I have waited for.”
Jothi and Senthil took care of most of their wedding preparations. He shares some memories, “We shopped with our parents and we selected dresses for each other. The best thing is that our tastes in clothing matched so well and we picked dresses both of us liked. It was so much fun to do shopping together.”
They had a simple temple wedding at Trivandrum, followed by a reception. He says, “Everything happened in the blink of an eye. She looked so beautiful in a maroon saree. I just couldn’t take my eyes off her. Our close ones were with us when I tied the knot and we both felt so blessed.” Jothi adds, “We both were so emotional on our wedding day and we lived every moment fully. I was so excited to start my life with him.”
Concluding the conversation, Senthil talks about what he feels about life after marriage, “There is someone always expecting my presence and I found a best friend in my life with whom I can share everything.”
Wishing them to have more memorable moments together!
